Cancellation Policy

At Sub Sahara Living, we strive to ensure that your shopping experience is as smooth and efficient as possible. We understand that sometimes you may change your mind after placing an order. Please review our cancellation policy below:

1. Order Cancellation Before Shipment
You may cancel your order at any time before it has been processed and handed over to our courier partners. Since we aim to dispatch orders quickly to ensure fast delivery across South Africa, we recommend contacting us immediately if you wish to cancel.

  • To cancel an order, please email our customer support team at admin@subsaharaliving.com with your Order Number and cancellation request.
  • If the order has not yet been processed for dispatch, we will cancel it and issue a full refund to your original payment method.

2. Cancellation After Shipment
Once an order has been packed and handed over to our courier, it can no longer be cancelled.

  • If your order has already shipped, you will need to receive the delivery and then initiate a return in accordance with our Refund & Returns Policy.
  • Please note that for shipped orders, standard return shipping fees may apply.

3. Non-Cancellable Items
Certain items cannot be cancelled or returned once the order is placed, including:

  • Personalized or custom-made items.
  • Items explicitly marked as “Final Sale” or “Clearance.”
  • Gift cards.

4. Cancellations by Sub Sahara Living
In rare cases, Sub Sahara Living reserves the right to cancel an order. This may occur due to:

  • Unforeseen stock unavailability.
  • Pricing or system errors.
  • Suspected fraudulent transactions.
    If we cancel your order for any of these reasons, you will be notified immediately, and a full refund will be processed without delay.

5. Refund Processing Time
For successfully cancelled orders, refunds will be processed to the original payment method used at checkout. Please allow 3–7 business days for the funds to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
